The weather's not good, and there's no colour in the landscape. Although it's a good time, getting warmer, big clouds with racing shadows over the fields, longer days, I find it the least inspiring time of the year for photography.

And my mind is on writing sociology essays...

But...

I won a prize! [modesty disappears over horizon]
